Who this is for

LUSH.lt is for international students moving to or living in Lithuania — degree-seeking students from inside and outside the EU, and Erasmus / exchange students. We explain the practical things nobody hands you: residence permits, your personal code, opening a bank account, finding a flat, health insurance, getting around, and settling into daily life.

How we keep guides accurate

Several topics here — immigration, health, money — are areas where wrong information is genuinely harmful. So every guide that involves rules, fees, or figures is cross-checked against official Lithuanian sources (such as the Migration Department, Sodra, and universities), carries a clear last verified date, and links to the source so you can confirm it yourself.

We are not lawyers, and this site is general information, not legal advice. Rules change — always confirm anything important with your university's international office and the relevant authority before you act.

What we cover

City-specific details (rent, transport) currently focus on Vilnius & Kaunas, the two largest student cities, with more coverage planned. Where a figure or rule differs by city or by your status (EU, non-EU, exchange), we say so rather than giving one number for everyone.
